You must have been connected with us for more than a year now on our Instagram channel ‘Ushijo.co’. Where we shared methods to do Puja and other spiritual practices, stories of intense devotion and some interesting revelations on Sanatana Dharma which were generally not known to people. 

But there is a deep intent and story behind why Ushijo.co started, which we want to tell you all. 

Sanatana Dharma by its inherent virtue is very vast and diverse. That is why there are so many overlapping practices, rituals and stories. And since many of our scriptures were destroyed and Sanskrit was no longer mandatory to study in our education system – this left a huge gap in our understandings of our own Dharma.

Many parents don’t know what to tell their kids on why certain rituals are done. And kids are freely taking a more liberal stand without actually exploring the truth of Sanatana Dharma. You know what will happen if this is not stopped? Gradually over a period of time, the beautiful secrets of Sanatana Dharma, its guidance to live a splendid life will be lost or possibly be commonly misunderstood.

So as believers of Sanatana Dharma what can we do? We need to put little efforts to learn more about itself. At least 5 minutes a day. And over an year or so you will be surprised by the things you know.

And that is why we started our Instagram channel to present to you the mysteries and beauty on Sanatana Dharma on a daily basis in a visually appealing way. Because lets accept it frankly, many of us do not have the time to go through the lengthy discourses from the scholars nor can we spend time everyday trying to expound the scriptures. 

That is why we need to help people learn things about Sanatana Dharma in simple and easy way and then gradually help them progress on that path. Otherwise simply the vastness of the scriptures and knowledge can be overwhelming to begin with.

So our intent is to bring you the knowledge of Sanatana Dharma in a way possible for the modern generation to understand, interpret and even cherish it. And we hope you will help us on this mission by giving your suggestions and time, so that everybody (young and old) would know the meaning, procedure and significance behind the rituals of Sanatana Dharma.
